The name of the club refers to our horse, Peregrine. He’s a Morgan horse and his name, coming from the Latin for ‘pilgrim’, was the name given to the baby boy born aboard the Mayflower just before the ship landed.
The Morgan encapsulates the true spirit of Amerifine. Recognised as one of the first American horse breeds, Morgans trace back to a first stallion called ‘Figure’, known for his versatility, strength and superb temperament. He epitomised the ideal horse for a pioneering nation. And those who buy a Morgan often say they’ve welcomed a new member into the family.
